Rendezvous, Recognize and Reconnect: Remembering God’s Plan for Christian Sisterhood
The evening will feature a keynote session, Rendezvous, Recognize and Reconnect: Remembering God’s Plan for Christian Sisterhood, given by author and speaker, Mary Lenaburg. In her keynote, Mary offers advice and encouragement on how, despite the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, where we are constantly trying to meet the demands of our never ending “to do “ list, we can reconnect with Jesus, ourselves and our community, thus allowing us to build sustainable relationships filled with mercy and grace.
ABOUT MARY - Mary is a full-time author and Catholic speaker who has given keynotes at conferences across the country, including The Edel Gathering, the Diocese of Grand Rapids Women’s Conference, Mary’s Mantle Breakfast, and at the Northwest Catholic Women’s Conference in Oregon. A writer with Take Up & Read, her work has appeared in five meditation books. She also has contributed to two other books.
Mary is also a favorite guest on many Catholic radio and podcasts, including The Jennifer Fulwiler Show, The Hallie Lord Show, Fountains of Carrots, and Girlfriends. She serves her home parish in many roles, including catechist, sacristan, and extraordinary minister of Holy Communion.
She and her husband, Jerry, live in Fairfax, Virginia, with their son, Jonathan. Their daughter , Courtney, passed away in 2014.
Mary’s first book, Be Brave in the Scared all about trusting God in difficult times, will be published by Ave Maria Press in April 2019.
Musical guest Marie Millerwill round out the evening with her beautiful praise and worship music, sharing her own story about friendship and staying connected to family, friends and faith.
